Hey, I’m Darko. I build for the web, mostly in TypeScript, with a soft spot for SQLite. I’ve been at it for 15+ years. Yes, I remember IE6.

Work

I’m a Product Engineer, currently working on Axiomatic, where I’m CTO. We’re building PostoERP, a multi-tenant ERP with PostgreSQL on the server and SQLite in the browser, among other things. Most of my time goes into the parts that have to be correct.

Before that, I worked on developer experience: CLIs, framework integrations, and the docs and demos around them. These days I build with coding agents, with tests and review gates around them.

Community

I’ve run BeerJS Skopje since 2017 and help curate the global BeerJS network.

I co-founded WhatTheStack, a community-first developer conference in Skopje. I also built the apps that run it, and they’re open source.

Speaking

I speak at conferences and meetups, including React Summit, React Day Berlin, WeAreDevelopers and CityJS. The full list is on the talks page. Reach out if you want me at your event.

Writing

I write about web development, community and running conferences. I also maintain Relatinator, which picks the related reads at the end of each post.
